Macclesfield have signed Everton defender Aristote Nsiala on a month-long loan.

The 18-year-old centre-back, who was born in DR Congo but moved to Liverpool eight years ago, has yet to make his senior debut for any team.

He was an unused substitute for the Toffees in last season's Europa League.

Silkmen boss Gary Simpson told the club website: "We were looking for someone versatile and he can play across the back, in the middle or at full-back."
