Bob Dorrian delighted to be appointed Lincoln chairman
Dorrian predicts 'exciting times'
Lincoln City chairman Bob Dorrian has said he was delighted to be appointed chairman at the club.
The lifelong Imps fan succeeded Steff Wright in the role in June.
Dorrian told BBC Lincolnshire: "I was born not far from Sincil Bank and have been coming here since 1956 when I used to come to matches with my Grandad,
"I have a great affinity with the club and it was a 'Roy of the Rovers' moment to be made chairman of the club I've supported all my life."
Dorrian also feels that current Imps manager Chris Sutton could go on to match his most illustrious predecessor at Lincoln, former England boss Graham Taylor.
"Chris has all the qualities needed to turn himself in to a top Premier League manager," said Dorrian.
"He's got a great work ethic and a steely determination to succeed.
"Everything he does says to me that one day he'll be a big manager in this country - he could be Lincoln's next Graham Taylor."
