Lincoln City manager Chris Sutton is delighted the Imps have been drawn away to Leeds United in the Carling Cup.
Lincoln will face the Championship side at Elland Road in the first round tie in the week commencing August 9.
Sutton told BBC Lincolnshire: "Leeds is a very big club and it will be an exciting game for our fans in a fantastic stadium.
"It's a good opportunity for us as a team as well. We have nothing to lose so the players should enjoy it."
The Imps have so far signed four new players who might figure against Leeds, including winger Mustapha Carayol and striker Drewe Broughton.
But Sutton hopes to make one or two more high-profile signings.
"There are a couple of players who we're looking at who would be very exciting if we can get them to Sincil Bank," he told BBC Lincolnshire.
"I think fans would be pleased if we can complete these signings but there's still a lot of work to be done."
