Kovacs scored four goals in 66 appearances for Lincoln
Luton Town have completed the signing of Hungarian defender Janos Kovacs on a five-month deal after Lincoln cancelled his contract by mutual consent.
The towering 24-year-old, who had been on the transfer list at Sincil Bank, had also been linked to Ferencvaros, Southend United and Barnet.
He told BBC Three Counties Radio: "A lot of clubs were interested in me.
"I think it was an easy decision for me because Luton Town are a massive, massive football club."
He added: "I know Luton Town are in the Conference, at the moment, but I'm sure this football club are a lot better than this.
"It was an easy decision to come away because if I check the attendance, in home games, it's unbelievable, with around six to seven thousand at every home game."
Kovacs moved to England in 2005 to join Chesterfield and had a loan spell at York before joining Lincoln in 2008.
He has made 136 appearances in English football, scoring seven league goals.
