Peter Jackson is extremly popular with Imps fans

Lincoln City manager Peter Jackson will return to Sincil Bank for the first time since treatment for throat cancer.

The Imps boss is expected to hold meetings with players and club chairman Steff Wright on Wednesday.

Officials at Sincil Bank are stressing that the visit is very much a one off for the moment until Peter Jackson is given permission to return to work.

The Imps boss has not been back at Sincil Bank since March and is not yet ready to return full-time.
