Leeds United have cancelled the contracts of right-back Jason Crowe and keeper Alan Martin by mutual contest.
Crowe, 32, was signed by manager Simon Grayson from Northampton on a free transfer in the summer of 2009.
He the club's website: "I'm disappointed things haven't worked out, but I'm looking forward to a new challenge now.
"The last few months have been tough, but I can also look back on some real highlights while I've been here."
Crowe made 27 appearances during United's League One promotion season but has not featured in the Championship.
Scotland Under-21 keeper Martin joined from Motherwell in 2007 but never made a senior appearance for the Elland Road club.
He has had loan spells at Barrow and Accrington Stanley.
