Leeds United to run rule over seven Brazilian trialists
Leeds United will take a look at a number of Brazilian players ahead of the new season.
The seven trialists, who all currently play in Europe, will link up with the rest of the squad in mid-July.
Leeds chairman Ken Bates told Yorkshire Radio: "It's come through an arrangement with a chap who specialises in mid and South America.
"He has a proven record. He has seven players in the Premier League and he wants to work with us."
He added: "Nothing may come of it, but you have to cast your net far and wide."
Current striker Luciano Becchio came to Elland Road under similar circumstances, after impressing while on a pre-season tour of Ireland two years ago.
If we want a player, we get him

The Argentine forward has gone on to score 36 goals in two seasons at the club.
Manager Simon Grayson has already made four signings so far - goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, defenders Paul Connolly and Federico Bessone, and striker Billy Paynter - and Bates says more will follow.
"Negotiations are ongoing," the chairman said. "I can assure the fans to watch this space, but as ever, we don't comment until something is done.
"And despite what you read in the papers, no player has turned us down. If we want a player, we get him."
