Grella has yet to score a first-team goal for Leeds
Leeds United striker Mike Grella has signed a new three-year deal with the League One side.
The 22-year-old American originally joined United in January after a successful trial period.
"I'm absolutely delighted to have signed the deal," Grella told the club's website.
"I want to be part of the group and play as big a part as I possibly can in getting Leeds promoted, so we'll have to wait to see how it plays out "
Grella made 11 appearances for Leeds last season, after making his debut as a substitute against Huddersfield Town in February, but has yet to score a first-team goal for United.
"The manager told me that he obviously rated me and that if I worked hard, Leeds would be the place for me to grow and become a better professional," added Grella.
"I am sure the goals will come for me, I'm relaxed enough to score as many goals as possible."
