Ehiogu has recently recovered from a long-term injury |
Leeds have completed the signing of Middlesbrough's former England centre-back Ugo Ehiogu on loan until 1 January, reports BBC Radio Leeds. Ehiogu has not featured for Boro this season after a long-term leg injury.
The 34-year-old, who won four England caps, made 150 appearances for Boro after arriving for a club record 8m fee from Aston Villa in 2000.
The signing was completed two hours before the closing of Thursday's loan transfer window.
Leeds had to beat off the challenge of several Championship clubs, including Barnsley, to land the experienced defender.
Ehiogu had been a loan target for West Brom earlier this season, but Boro refused to let him leave the Riverside Stadium at the time.
