Kidderminster Harriers sign utility player Tom Shaw
Harriers manager Burr says Shaw's versatility is a bonus
Kidderminster Harriers have signed former Tamworth utility player Tom Shaw on a one-year deal.
The 23-year-old Nottingham Forest youth academy product was handed his England C international debut in 2009.
Shaw began his career at Rushden and Diamonds in 2006 where he spent two years before moving to Mansfield.
Harriers manager Steve Burr told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "With Tom, I have somebody who can play well in a number of positions."
He added: "He is most comfortable in the middle of the park and we have some good options there, but with a small squad like we have, he is really valuable."
Shaw made 40 appearances last season before leaving Tamworth this summer.
Burr says his experience at this level was a big attraction. "Tom's been around the Conference for many years and he knows all about it, " he said.
