Tamworth have signed midfielder Tom Shaw following his release from Mansfield Town.

Shaw, 22, joined the Stags in the summer but failed to break into the first team this season, making 11 substitute appearances.

He joins a Lambs side currently second in Blue Square North following an encouraging start to 2008/09.

Shaw is set for his debut this Saturday in Tamworth's FA Cup third qualifying round tie against East Thurrock.
