Smikle is beginning to fulfill his potential

Kidderminster Harriers have offered a new contract to 13-goal top scorer Brian Smikle.

The 24-year-old winger's current deal at Aggborough is set to expire at the end of the season.

Manager Steve Burr told the club website: "We have spoken to Brian about the fact that we would like to keep him here for next season.

"I have put an offer to his advisor which I feel is a really good offer. He is an important part of the club."

Smikle joined Harriers from West Bromwich Albion in 2006 but was dogged by injuries during his first two seasons with the club.
