Hereford's best first-half effort came early on when trialist Sunday Wasui headed against the bar, before Matt Barnes-Homer made it 3-0 to Harriers.
Trialists Frank Pandiani and Tomi Ameobi scored late goals for Hereford.
Worcester City's game at Stourport was postponed and will be played on Thursday 23 July
