Kidderminster Harriers have signed three players in one day to step up their summer rebuilding programme.

Defender Luke Jones has signed from Shrewsbury Town, along with Yeovil Town striker Darryl Knights.

Harriers have also strengthened their goalkeeping options with the signing of Adam Bartlett from Blyth Spartans.

Jones spent a month at Aggborough last term, while Knights finished the season with Harriers. Both have since been released by their respective clubs.

Jones, who has signed a one-year deal, said he enjoyed his loan spell at Aggborough and so the move was an obvious one.

"After getting released by Shrewsbury, signing here wasn't a hard decision to make," he said. "The loan spell here last season was a new lease of life for me."

Knights, who scored four goals in 13 appearances during his loan from Yeovil, says it was the club's will to succeed that swayed his decision.

"It's a good club with a good set of fans and that made my mind up," said Knights. "Kidderminster have the potential to really push on. There's a good ambition here and we're going in the right direction."

Bartlett, who has won England C recognition, will compete with Dean Coleman for the goalkeeping jersey next season after signing a one-year deal.

Harriers manager Mark Yates told BBC Hereford and Worcester he is delighted to have attracted him to Aggborough.

"He's one of Andy Ferrell's best mates, " said Yates. "And he plays with Russ Penn in the England C team.

"They've said nothing but good things about Kidderminster and, after speaking with Adam at length about what we are trying to do here, he's turned down a number of other clubs to come on board."
