Fairclough names England C squad
England C manager Paul Fairclough
Fairclough has named two players from below the top flight
Manager Paul Fairclough has named a 16-man squad for the England C team's first game under their new name.

The non-league side - formerly known as the England National Game XI - visit Finland in an International Challenge Trophy tie on Wednesday, 14 November.

The rules of the tournament mean there is an Under-23 age limit for the squad.

Blyth Spartans keeper Adam Bartlett and Witton Albion full-back Liam Brownhill are the only two players selected from below Blue Square Premier level.

The other 14 players all hail from top-flight Conference clubs, including four from Stevenage.

England C squad to face Finland:

Lance Cronin (Ebbsfleet), Adam Bartlett (Blyth Spartans), Barry Fuller (Stevenage), John Brayford (Burton), Michael Morrison (Cambridge Utd), Ronnie Henry (Stevenage), Liam Brownhill (Witton Albion), Matthew Day (Oxford Utd), Louis Soares (Aldershot), Stuart Lewis (Stevenage), Russell Penn (Kidderminster), Lewis Chalmers (Aldershot), Mitchell Cole (Stevenage), James Constable (Kidderminster), Shaun Harrad (Burton), Matt Tubbs (Salisbury).
