Kettering's Adam Cunnington sets target for team-mate
Kettering Town striker Adam Cunnington has set a 20-goal target for Poppies team-mate Jean-Paul Marna.
Cunnington joined recently from Solihull Moors and made his debut in the 2-0 win over Newport which saw Marna net his 14th goal of the season.
"Jean-Paul is a great lad to have around the dressing room," the 23-year-old told BBC Radio Northampton.
"He's the club's top-scorer and there's no reason why he can't reach the 20-mark by the end of the season."
He added: "You can see from his goals on the pitch that he's growing in confidence."
Cunnington was brought in by Kettering manager Marcus Law - his former boss at Barwell FC - and said he was pleased with his Poppies debut.
"Obviously I would have liked to have got a few more shots and grabbed a goal. But it was important that I put in as solid a performance as I possibly could.
"First and foremost I needed to make sure that I didn't let myself down, the gaffer down or anyone at the club down."
