Aston Villa youngster Calum Flanagan has joined Kettering on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old defender was signed in time to feature in the Poppies' 4-1 Blue Square Bet Premier defeat by Gateshead on Tuesday night.
Now a Villa reserve player, the Birmingham-born centre-half made his Premier Academy League debut in 2008.
He has yet to make his senior bow but was included in Villa's Europa League squad at the beginning of the season.
