Kettering Town manager Marcus Law is urging fans to remain positive about the club's future.

The Poppies are working to resolve the impending expiry of their lease at their Rockingham Road ground in 2013.

Law told BBC Radio Northampton: "We're entering a busy time with the restructuring of the playing staff, if players do move on or come in.

"There can be a culture of negativity but I'm hoping that will be dashed with a positive remainder of the season."

"[Chairman] Imraan Ladak is doing what he needs to do, and when something has to be announced, it will be," added Law.

After defeat in the FA Trophy to Chasetown, the Poppies saw their fixture at Kidderminster ruled out because of the wintry conditions. They next travel to Tamworth in the Blue Square Bet Premier on Boxing Day.

"We were bitterly disappointed with how we performed against Chasetown," added Law.

"The frustration does kick in with the weather. You can see the players are hungry to get out there.

"They just have to stay focused and drilled to make sure we're prepared for the game when it does come along."
