Defender Gareth McAuley happy with Ipswich Town talks
McAuley is in his third season at Portman Road
Ipswich Town defender Gareth McAuley says he has no concerns over his future at the club.
The 31-year-old, who has played in every game under new boss Paul Jewell, is set to be a free agent when his deal expires in the summer.
"I spoke to the manager a week or so after he came in and we had a good chat," he told BBC Radio Suffolk.
"We're both happy with the situation, we'll wait until the end of the season and see what happens from there."
The Northern Ireland international missed a host of games at the back end of last year through injury, but has still managed to amass 34 Ipswich appearances this season.
And the former Leicester City man is hopeful he can continue to play in a Town shirt beyond the current campaign.
"I've always said I want to stay here, I'm happy here," he added.
"We've started to pick up results and it makes you want to stay here.
