Left-back Mark Kennedy set for Ipswich Town lay-off
Keenedy has featured six times for Ipswich since arriving from Cardiff
Ipswich Town left-back Mark Kennedy is expected to be out for up to three weeks after damaging his hamstring in Saturday's 2-1 defeat by Coventry.
The 34-year-old, who arrived from Cardiff in the summer, will undergo a scan on Monday to assess the full extent of the injury.
Boss Roy Keane told BBC Radio Suffolk: "The left-back situation has been an issue for us since I came to the club.
"Mark will miss the next few weeks and we're waiting for the report."
The Town boss has a number of options at his disposal to replace the Irishman, including giving Jack Colback his first start since arriving from Sunderland for his second loan spell at Portman Road.
If we continue our lack of goals I think we'll have to look at an attacking player

Colback, 20, became Keane's fourth loan signing of the season on Friday with Celtic's Darren O'Dea and Tottenham pair Jake Livermore and Andros Townsend already at the club.
But Keane is not ruling out the possibility of more arrivals: "I still think we'll be keeping our options open for one more.
"We look at that on a daily basis. I think we're OK for midfielders and defensively we're not too bad.
"But if we continue our lack of goals I think we'll have to look at an attacking player."
