New Ipswich Town keeper Brian Murphy out for two weeks

Ipswich Town

Ipswich Town goalkeeper Brian Murphy is likely to be out for two weeks after picking up an ankle injury during the warm-up at Leicester City on Sunday.

The 26-year-old moved to Ipswich from Bohemians this month and he could have made his debut in the Foxes game.

Arran Lee-Barrett remains first choice in the absence of Richard Wright, who is out until at least March.

Boss Roy Keane told the club website: "We've been unlucky with keepers but I did fear it could have been longer."

Town will not look for another keeper in the absence of Irishman Murphy.
