Ipswich defender Damien Delaney has backed goalkeeper Arran Lee-Barrett to be a success in the first team.
The 25-year-old will make his first start for his hometown club in Saturday's game at Bristol City as cover for the injured Richard Wright.
Delaney told BBC Suffolk: "Arran's a fantastic young keeper who's really impressed me in training.
"Since he came in he's grown in confidence, he's a good communicator and a good, strong keeper."
Lee-Barrett started his career at Ipswich Town's academy before making his professional debut for Cardiff City in 2004.
He then went on to play for Weymouth and Hartlepool before returning to Suffolk in August 2009 when Shane Supple retired.
He made his first appearance for Ipswich as a substitute in their recent win over Cardiff on 29 November.
