Ipswich Town have appointed former Notts County manager Ian McParland to their coaching staff.
The 48-year-old parted company with the League Two club in October after two years in charge - three months after Sven-Goran Eriksson's arrival.
Ipswich boss Roy Keane told BBC Suffolk: "He is somebody I am delighted to bring to the club.
"He's a good character who knows his football and did a very good job at Notts County."
