Ipswich Town have offered midfielder Owen Garvan a new contract which would keep him at the club until 2011.

The 20-year-old's current deal is due to expire at the end of next season.

It has been a good week for the FA Youth Cup winner who was named in the full Republic of Ireland squad for the first time on Tuesday.

Since making his Ipswich debut in August 2005, Garvan has made more than 100 appearances for the club and has scored six goals.
