De Vos says he will make a decision on his future in the summer (Getty Images)
Ipswich Town have offered their captain Jason De Vos a new one-year contract to extend his stay at the club beyond the summer when his current deal expires.
Manager Jim Magilton told the club website: "He's been terrific for us this year and we have sat down and talked about his future.
"At the moment he wants to concentrate on the rest of this season."
The 34-year-old is the only Ipswich player to have played every minute of every league game this season.
The former Canadian international has made more than 170 appearances for Town since he joined them on a free transfer from Wigan in 2004.
