Ipswich defender Richard Naylor is poised to step up his rehabilitation following surgery to repair damaged cartilage in a toe. The 30-year-old, who is expected to be sidelined for three months, is spending time deep water running.
"It was very frustrating because, having worked hard through pre-season, I was still struggling," he told the club website.
"When the specialist said I needed surgery I felt like I had wasted that."
