Harper came through the youth ranks at Arsenal

Hull City midfielder James Harper will have to see a specialist in London over a problem with his right foot, reports BBC Radio Humberside.

Harper, 30, suffered the injury in Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Leeds United at the KC Stadium.

Harper broke the same foot in pre-season but it is not believed to be broken this time.

Meanwhile, defender Liam Rosenior has avoided a serious neck injury despite being stretchered off in that game.

Harper seems certain to miss Saturday's Humber derby with Scunthorpe United whilst Rosenior is also rated as doubtful at this stage.
