Hull City midfielder James Harper is ready to return
James Harper came through the youth ranks at Arsenal
Hull City midfielder James Harper says he is ready to play 90 minutes, despite having not fully recovered from a broken foot.
The 29-year-old sustained the injury in July and made his comeback as a substitute against Portsmouth.
"It's 98% healed but I have a bit of aggravation," the former Reading player told BBC Radio Humberside.
"I just have to get on with it now, it's good enough to play on but I just can't turn to the right," Harper added.
Harper is eager to make an impact for the Tigers, in spite of his injury:"Get me out there and I'll do what I can, I'll limp around but I'll do what I can."
The experienced midfielder signed for the Tigers in the summer after spending a year at fellow Championship side Sheffield United.
Harper began his career at Arsenal, before spending nine years at Reading, where he was part of the side that won promotion to the Premier League in 2006.
