Morrison has yet to play a first team game for Reading
Huddersfield Town have signed centre-back Sean Morrison on loan from Championship club Reading.
The 20-year-old former Swindon man has joined until 31 May to provide cover at the back while Anthony Kay continues his recovery from an ankle injury.
Morrison told the club website: "I know a lot about Huddersfield from last season [playing for Swindon].
"In those games you could see they were a brilliant team, just as the setup here is brilliant."
Morrison already has League One experience and scored a 90th minute winner for Swindon against Huddersfield back in September before his January transfer move to Reading.
Town manager Lee Clark has admitted he tried to sign Morrison during that window, but could not compete with the lure of a team pushing for promotion back to the Premier League.
Clark said: "He's a very big, strong lad who is dominant in the air - but he's also a good footballer when he has the time to play. His long throw will be a valuable attacking asset during the run-in too.
"Peter Clarke and Jamie McCombe are doing very well at the moment, but Peter has been carrying a back injury for the last couple of games, although from his performances you wouldn't know it."
