Youngsters still in Clark's plans

Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark has said young strikers Tom Denton and Daniel Broadbent remain in his plans.

Denton, 19, has just returned from a loan spell at Woking, while 18-year-old Broadbent returns from his loan at Rushden and Diamonds next week.

"We had people watching both lads while they were out on loan, so know how they are doing," Clark told BBC Radio Leeds.

"Now they are back we can take a good look at them and it's up to them to stake a claim."

Meanwhile Town are yet to learn if Everton youngster Lucas Jutkiewicz can join on loan.

Huddersfield believe that the paperwork was completed before Monday's transfer deadline, but the Football League are yet to approve the deal.

"We are still waiting on Jutkiewicz and there is some doubt whether we did or didn't get the paperwork in in time," said Clark.

"But worst case scenario is that Lucas will be our player when the loan window re-opens next weekend and he should be available for the Leeds United game next Saturday."

The West Yorkshire outfit are also still waiting for Frenchman Jonathan Tehoue to receive international clearance.

The 24-year-old has agreed to join the Terriers until the end of the season after previously being a free agent.

"Once Tehoue is with us and if he proves to be fit enough he'll be straight in my first team plans," the Huddersfield boss added.
