Norwich City assistant boss Lee Clark is set to become the new manager at Huddersfield Town.

The 36-year-old former Newcastle United midfielder is at an advanced stage of talks with the Terriers after they made a formal approach for his services.

"We would expect compensation for a man of Lee's experience and potential and that has been agreed," Canaries boss Glenn Roeder told the club website.

The role has been vacant since Stan Ternant was sacked in early November.
