Histon chief executive Allen Soraff resigns

Histon

Histon chief executive Allen Soraff has announced his decision to leave the club for personal reasons.

Soraff had effectively been in charge of the club alongside other directors following the resignation of chairman Tony Roach in April.

In a statement the club said: "Allen always intended to continue until he was 65 and review his position.

"He has decided to redress the balance in his life and spend more time with his family."

The statement added: "The board is pleased that Allen and Liz [Soraff] will continue their support of the club as season ticket holders and hope that any spare time they now have allows them to enjoy their trips abroad.

"The directors would like to thank Allen for his considerable contribution as director and chief executive officer."

The club also confirmed that former chairman Roach has severed all ties with the club.

It is now assumed director Angelo Dama will take charge of day-to-day affairs with boss John Beck looking to add names to his lightweight squad.
