Histon goalkeeper Danny Naisbitt and defender Matt Langston have both agreed new one-year deals with the club.

Naisbitt joined the Stutes from Cambridge City in 2007, whilst Langston made the move from Milton Road in 2006.

Manager Steve Fallon told BBC Cambridgeshire that he is expecting a busy few weeks: "Just about everyone in this squad has done well this year.

"Some players might want to move on, but we've got to make decisions based on our budgets as well."

Both Naisbitt and Langston have been virtual ever-presents in the Stutes' first 11 this season.

Histon have never previously been in a situation where there has been such interest in their star players.

The likes of Lanre Oyebanjo, Patrick Ada and Antonio Murray have already been linked with moves away from the Glass World Stadium and Fallon says the club are entering unknown territory.

"Most of the players have agents now and they're a bit of a nightmare to work with," he said.

"They're only interested in touting the players around to all and sundry, but we've just got to hope the lads can see what we want to do and decide to stay."

Histon are set to remain part-time for next season and Fallon believes that may make it easier to hold onto their current squad.

"If they've got a good job, then they won't want to go full-time unless it's a really good offer," he said.

"But at the end of the day you'd like to think a bit less money isn't the end of the world for them anyway."

Meanwhile, midfielder Josh Simpson has been named in Paul Fairclough's 16 man squad for the England C international against Belgium later in the month.
