Histon goalkeeper Danny Naisbitt has praised his defence after the Stutes made it five consecutive league matches without conceding a goal.
Steve Fallon's side are back up to third in the Blue Square Premier following Saturday's 1-0 win over high flying Kettering.
Naisbitt told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "It's the team really, defending from the front and right the way through.
"We've chopped and changed, but now we've got a solid unit together."
Histon are up to third in the Blue Square Premier with nine wins from their last 12 matches and travel to Stevenage on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Leeds and Northampton replay on Monday for the chance to meet the Stutes in the second round of the FA Cup.
Nasibitt admits he is not too concerned which side goes through.
"We're on television so we'll be delighted whoever we get we're just pleased to be there," he said.
"The Glass World is becoming a bit of a fortress at the moment so I don't think too many teams will fancy coming here."
