Roberto Martinez says Histon are favourites

Roberto Martinez is ruing the prospect of playing another non-league side after Swansea were drawn away to Histon in the FA Cup third round.

The Swans were knocked out by non-league Havant & Waterlooville 4-2 in a third round replay last season.

Blue Square Premier Histon have beaten League One sides Leeds and Swindon in rounds two and one respectively.

"Histon playing at home in their own environments are the favourites in my eyes," said Swans manager Martinez.

"I think from our point of view, it's extremely difficult to play the hardest role in the FA Cup which is trying to be the league team that is not going to be knocked out by the non-league team.

"That's the magic of the Cup. We played that role three times last season and it's not an enjoyable one.

"We need to make sure we take the lessons from the last campaign, be as professional as we can."
