Fallon expecting Burton slip-up

Histon boss Steve Fallon is confident table-topping Burton Albion will suffer a loss of form between now and the end of the season.

The Stutes are currently 14 points behind the Blue Square Premier leaders, but with four matches in hand.

Fallon told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "I think Burton will blow-up a little bit and if teams behind can hold a good run of form, they may get pegged back.

"Teams will need to put six or seven wins together to stay in the hunt."

Histon have won their last two matches in the league after an indifferent spell over Christmas.

With last Saturday's home clash with Grays having been postponed due to water-logging at the Glass World, the Stutes are back in action at Kidderminster on Tuesday.

"The Stevenages and Wrexhams and Oxfords are starting to push into the mix and it's getting a lot tighter for the four play-off places," Fallon said.

"It's good when there are a lot of teams who can beat each other, even the sides down the bottom are capable of winning games."
