Stefan Stam has scored two goals in 135 games in English football
Struggling Hereford United have signed Dutch defender Stefan Stam on loan from Yeovil as they bid to escape relegation from the Football League.
The 31-year-old former FC Eindhoven and Oldham Athletic stopper moves to Edgar Street on an initial one-month deal.
Stam, who has not started a first-team game for Yeovil since November, could make his Bulls debut in Tuesday's trip to Port Vale.
Jamie Pitman's Hereford are six points away from the drop zone in League Two.
And they urgently need to rediscover the winning away day formula that earned four successive victories on their travels until slipping up by losing 4-0 at Southend on Friday.
