Bartlett has played five games for the England C side
Hereford United keeper Adam Bartlett says he has a secret plan when it comes to saving penalties.
Bartlett saved three spot-kicks as the Bulls beat Leyton Orient 3-2 on penalties after their Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie finished 1-1.
He told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "I don't want to give my secret away, as I have a bit of a gameplan.
"I have a little something that I do, normally I don't save the first one or two and take it from there."
He added: "Normally unless our lads miss, which I don't expect them to, I get to face four or five penalties.
"This is the third time in this competition it has gone to penalties, luckily enough I have been able to make a save or two and we have got through to the next round."
The England C international said the Bulls should have won the tie in 90 minutes.
"We played brilliantly in the first half and passed it around, got the goal and Leon (Constantine) took it well," he said.
"I don't know if they underestimated us, for the first 45 minutes we looked like the League One side.
"The second half was going to be difficult, they maybe got a telling-off at half-time and they went up a gear or two."
