Hartlepool United have extended the loan of Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Jake Kean until 4 January.
Kean has established himself as the first choice at Victoria Park in the absence of Scott Flinders, keeping seven clean sheets in 15 games.
Beginning his career at Derby County as part of their academy, the 19-year-old left the Rams for Ewood Park in 2009.
He is yet to make a first-team appearance for his parent club, but is tied to Rovers until June 2014.
