Hartlepool United have signed Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Jake Kean on an initial one-month loan as cover for the injured Andy Rafferty.
The 19-year-old joins Pools ahead of the visit of Exeter on Saturday and will provide competition for regular custodian Scott Flinders.
"We hope to help his development as well as him help us with cover," boss Mick Wadsworth told the club website.
Kean has made two reserves appearances for Rovers this season.
