Hartlepool United have signed Sunderland striker Roy O'Donovan on loan until the end of the season.
O'Donovan will wear the number 32 shirt and is in the squad to face Carlisle at Victoria Park on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old spent a month on loan at Southend earlier in the season, scoring once in five games.
Since joining the Wearsiders from Cork City in July 2006, the Republic of Ireland B international has made 19 appearances but is yet to score.
Last season the Cork-born forward also had loan spells with Dundee United and Blackpool.
