Fleet lacking killer ball - Daish

Liam Daish
Daish's Ebbsfleet currently lie 14th in the Blue Square Premier

Ebbsfleet United manager Liam Daish was left frustrated by his side's inability to break down Forest Green Rovers as they lost 1-0 at Stonebridge Road.

Daish told BBC Radio Kent: "I can't fault the commitment of the lads.

"I think a bit of quality separated the two teams and apart from that strike, they didn't really threaten us.

"But I didn't think we really created enough quality in the final third, whether it be a final ball, a telling cross or a good free kick."

Jonathan Smith got the goal for the visitors three minutes before half time.

The Fleet's inconsistent league form leaves them 12th in the Blue Square Premier table, eight points outside the play-off places.
