Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish says striker Chris McPhee will be warmly welcomed when he returns to the club as a Weymouth player.
McPhee's last game for Fleet was the 2008 FA Trophy final when he scored the only goal of the game against Torquay.
"He was a great servant to the club, he did a job for me wherever I played him. To cap it all he signed off with a goal at Wembley", Daish told BBC Radio Kent.
McPhee moved to Weymouth to be closer to his family in the South West.
The 25-year-old started his career at Brighton and Hove Albion. He scored nine goals in 52 starts for Ebbsfleet.
