George Purcell's strike helped Ebbsfleet to a narrow 1-0 win over Weymouth at Stonebridge Road.

It took 24 minutes for Purcell to find the breakthrough when he fired home a left-foot volley.

Weymouth's Stuart Beavon had a right-footed effort well saved by Fleet goalkeeper Lance Cronin, before the forward headed over from 12 yards.

Stacy Long, who netted twice against Stevenage, wasted six second-half chances for Ebbsfleet.
