Gillingham striker Cody McDonald believes he has rediscovered his top form following his hat-trick in the 5-1 win at Stockport.
The 24-year-old, who is on loan from Norwich City, is the first Gills player for nearly 12 years to score a hat-trick away from home.
He has now scored 11 goals for Gillingham and told BBC Radio Kent: "It's been good. It's been going well.
"The boys are creating chances for me and it's been nice to get a hat-trick."
McDonald added: "I was maybe a little bit disappointed the other day when I hit the bar [at Wycombe].
"Then against Stevenage I had a couple of chances that I could have done better with, but we came away with a win from that one so we'll take that.
"But I've been happy on a personal note and hopefully we can keep going as a team now.
"Your aim is obviously to win games and win trophies and there's no reason why this team can't do that this year."
