Dover's Martin Hayes hopes to get hands on FA Cup cash
Dover's run to the third round has raised "at least 100,000"
Dover boss Martin Hayes says he hopes he will get some of the money from their FA cup run to spend on new players and help push for promotion.
The Blue Square Bet South side lost 2-0 at League One Huddersfield in the third round on Saturday.
Hayes told BBC Radio Kent that club chairman Jim Parmenter is as determined as he is to see his side promoted.
"He's fine with the money - he's not keeping it all himself. He said he would share some of it," said Hayes.
"When he said 'some' he didn't exactly elaborate on 'some'," he joked. "But he wants promotion so we'll do what we can to try to achieve that.
We've got a very important game on Tuesday night against Woking at home so we're hoping that some of the people that went to Huddersfield turn up for that one

"He said we can keep a look out for players so if we can get the right players we will recruit, but the lads there are good enough at the moment."
The Whites' best over run in the competition saw them beat two League Two sides - Gillingham and Aldershot - on the way to the third round.
"They've enjoyed the cup run and we've had good times," said Hayes.
"But if we do our bread and butter now in the league, we can maybe have another party in April and really celebrate and make it a great season as opposed to a good season."
Dover earned more than £100,000 from their cup run, which should go some way to helping them secure their third promotion in four years.
"We don't know exactly how much we've made yet but it's certainly six figures, which is a great boost for the club," said chairman Parmenter.
"We've done very well in the cup but we move on. Our priority this year is to win the league.
