Gillingham keeper Simon Royce hopes that his Wembley debut in the League Two play-off final does not prove to be his final game.
The 37-year-old has never played at the home of football since he made his professional debut in 1991.
Royce told BBC Radio Kent: "The only time I have been there is when I watched the Milk Cup final in 1983.
"I hope it's not the last game of my career but it might turn out to be. If I go out at Wembley that will do me."
He added: "I haven't been offered a new contract yet, I'd like to play on, but to wait until I'm 37 to play at Wembley, that's fantastic.
"I've waited a long time and I intend to make the most of it."
BBC Radio Kent has commentary of Gillingham v Shrewsbury in the League Two play-off final at Wembley on Saturday, 23 May at 1500 BST.
