Gateshead extend loan of Sunderland defender Liddle
Liddle scored on his debut for Gateshead against Kidderminster
Gateshead have extended the loan deal of left-back Michael Liddle from Premier League neighbours Sunderland until the end of the season.
Liddle, 21, has scored twice in five matches for the Tynesiders during his initial spell, including a goal on his debut against Kidderminster Harriers.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international has made one substitute appearance for his parent club.
He has also spent time on loan at Carlisle United and Leyton Orient.
