Gateshead eye Liddle, Tavernier and Edmundsson stay
Tavernier and Simun Edmundsson are on loan from Newcastle United
Gateshead manager Ian Bogie hopes to extend the loan deals of Premier League trio James Tavernier, Joan Simun Edmundsson and Michael Liddle.
Tavernier and Edmundsson made the move from Newcastle United, with Liddle signing from Sunderland.
The trio all arrived at the International Stadium on month-long deals earlier this month.
Bogie told BBC Newcastle: "They have freshened things up. We'd like to extend those deals if we possible can."
Defender Tavernier has made two senior appearances for the Magpies, while striker Edmundsson is a Faroe Islands international and has been a regular in Newcastle's reserve team this season.
Republic of Ireland Under-21 international defender Liddle is a product of the Sunderland academy.
Bogie added: "Liddle is great quality at left back, and Tevernier's got pace to burn. He can make a mistake, but his pace and his recovery can get him back in."
