Gateshead midfielder Ferrell aims for regular starts
Ferrell joined Gateshead from York City in February
Gateshead midfielder Andy Ferrell is targeting regular first-team football following his late goal in Saturday's 3-1 win over Tamworth.
The 26-year-old, who moved to the International Stadium from York City in February, has made just five starts for the Tynesiders this season.
"There's a lot more to come from me," Ferrell told BBC Newcastle.
"I'm at the age of my career where I need to be playing football, so all I can do is do my best."
Ferrell added: "It doesn't matter where I'm playing. I'm one of those players who gives 110% week in, week out, and that's all I can do."
Ian Bogie's side extended their unbeaten home record to six games with the win over the Lambs, responding Alex Rodman's early strike with goals from Jon Shaw, Kris Gate and Ferrell.
"It shows we've got a good team spirit, if you go a goal down you have to grab the game by the scruff of the neck," Ferrell continued.
"To score two goals in 10 minutes, I'm happy with the three points."
